Lisa Michele Photography bio picture
  • Welcome to Lisa Michele photography, where beautiful memories are created in the Northern California area. Please enjoy my gallery of images. I look forward to hearing from you, so together we can create portraits that fill your heart and last a lifetime.

I have not photographed many babies, but wanted to show you some I have done over the last couple of years.  I must share some behind the scenes stories.  In one portrait session, we were doing so well hiding a diaper under the little girl…and for whatever reason, at one point we did not use it.  Well, let that be the time the baby tinkles on the white, fluffy blanket!  I guess when you gotta go, you gotta go!  In another shoot…the photo with the dad holding his baby in his hand…meet Charlie.  Now Charlie….he slept, all was good.  But, his two older sisters, Sophia and Lucia…we did the same type of photo when they were each born, and both girls had a major blow out on dad.  Let me tell you, there is nothing like a newborn blow out.  One can’t say photographing babies is not entertaining!  It can BLOW YOU AWAY!!! 🙂

Michelle & Maggie

I have a heavy heart writing about these photos.  Michelle, aka, ‘Missy’….learned her precious Dane, Maggie, was dying of bone cancer, and wanted to have photos taken to remember her.  My eyes well up into tears just thinking about Maggie, as she was such a sweet girl.  Maggie was a rescue, Missy took her in when she was 7 years old and simply did not have enough time with her.  All Maggie wanted was to be loved, and that she was.  I miss Miss Maggie terribly, and am so glad we have these sweet photos to remember her by.  The final photo…that is Baron, Missy’s other Dane.  I had to put in a photo of Baron, because….well, we just can’t forget about Baron.  He deserves some attention too!  🙂
