Of course there always has to be a story when I’m involved…I met with the Rowland Family at Negro Bar for our portrait session, and of course we couldn’t go without having a few extra visitors…Geese!!! With my luck, flying overhead, one of them chose to leave a present on my camera equipment…not so kind of that goose. In any case, the lake was beautiful and the Rowlands were a fun group…even though I said to the kids I wouldn’t snap a photo until I saw their teeth, lol! ;-)Hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! They showed me teeth as much as they could, so they did not have to take any more photos, haha! Hey, whatever works! Toward the end of the session, we had some pretty funny conversations going on to get everyone smiling and it paid off!
Cassidy and Cade…two kids very near and dear to my heart. I love these two kids, and oh boy…I’m tearing up as I type those words. I won’t get too gushy here…let’s just say these are two more kids I’ve known since they were born. Cassidy is just 15 days older than my first born. They are two of the greatest, bravest, most courageous kids I know…both full of life and have much to give to this world. I can’t wait to watch them continue to flourish, and as always, will enjoy continuing to photograph and document their journey into adulthood.
I have known Cade since he was born, and it has been a pleasure watching him grow to the great kid he is today. So, he doesn’t always like to have his photo taken, but he knows when I’m around he has no choice but to smile, because I’m just going to make him laugh anyway! He gets a big kick out of my crazy stories. Anyway, always great fun to hang out with Cade and looking forward to seeing him continue to flourish.
